Context
Sport en Commun 2.0 is the new version of the leading pan-African platform dedicated to networking, promoting, supporting and financing actors in the sport-for-development ecosystem. Backed by Agence Française de Développement and managed by the Sport Impact Association, it relaunches in 2026 with a renewed ambition: surfacing the African projects with the strongest transformative potential.
Opportunity
On the occasion of its launch, Sport en Commun 2.0 will select three (3) laureate organisations that will benefit from an integrated package valued at €10,000 each, deployed alongside the Dakar Summit, held ahead of the Youth Olympic Games (31 October 2026).

Connect
- Transport and accommodation in Dakar covered for one representative
- Privileged access to high-level networking spaces at the Dakar Summit
- Direct introductions to decision-makers, investors and international sports organisations
Promote
- 360° visibility on the Sport en Commun 2.0 platform
- Production of a dedicated presentation video
- Promotion campaign across social media and press channels
- Feature during institutional speeches at the Summit
Support
- 8 personalised coaching sessions between July and October 2026
- Unlimited access to the Sport en Commun platform from July 2026 to June 2027
- Inclusion in a cohort of supported actors, fostering peer-to-peer exchanges
Finance
- Exclusive opportunity to pitch a panel of investors and donors alongside the Dakar Summit
- Inclusion in Sport Impact's pipeline of recommended projects post-Summit
- Recommendations to the qualified network of partner funders
Who is it for?
This call targets African organisations carrying mature initiatives with proven impact and ready to scale.
- Legal entities duly incorporated (associations, NGOs, sports clubs/federations, local authorities, public bodies, startups, impact-driven social enterprises)
- At least 36 months of legal existence
- Activities deployed on the African continent
- Sport as the main driver of transformation
- Measurable, documented impact over the past 24 months
- Funding need exceeding €100,000
- Identified, sustainable business model
- Validated member of the Sport en Commun platform at the date of submission:
- For organisations already members prior to the version 2.0 launch: must have reviewed and updated their information on the new platform interface.
- For newly registered organisations: their member status must have been validated by the Sport en Commun teams before gaining access to the application form.
