Public Development Banks are launching a “Sport for Development Coalition” in close collaboration with the world of sport to build together a sustainable world, in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The impact of sport on the SDGs

Sport is a tool for achieving a number of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The basic principles of sport, such as respect for fellow competitors and for the rules, teamwork and team spirit, help to safeguard human dignity.
